The National Disaster Management Authority announced that the distribution of cash assistance to earthquake-affected families in Kunar province is ongoing. From the national budget, special aid was distributed to the families affected in Deh-e-Gul Dara of Chawkay district.

According to the head of the authority, Mawlawi Nooruddin Turabi, each family of a person who lost their life in the earthquake will receive 20,000 Afghanis, while each injured person’s family will be given 10,000 Afghanis.
