Officials of the Afghan Red Crescent Society in Nangarhar province said that three million Afghanis were distributed among earthquake-affected families in Dara-e-Noor district.


Qari Ahmad Mohsin Mal, Director of Publications of the Afghan Red Crescent Society in Nangarhar, stated that 300 earthquake-affected families in Dara-e-Noor received assistance, with each family being given 10,500 Afghanis.


It is worth mentioning that two weeks ago, a powerful earthquake struck the eastern region, heavily damaging Dara-e-Noor district of Nangarhar. Hundreds of houses were destroyed in various villages, leaving 11 people dead and hundreds more injured.
