Mazar-e-Sharif municipality has launched the construction of a 220-metre road beside the Afghan–Uzbek Hospital in Turkmenabad area of District Two. The project, seven metres wide, is funded through the municipality’s development budget at a cost of 1,876,000 Afghanis.

Municipal technical chief Mohammad Javid Mayar said the work, supervised by assigned engineers, is expected to be completed within 40 days in line with the contract terms.
