Nangarhar launches projects worth 71 million Afghanis
Deputy Governor of Nangarhar, Mawlawi Azizullah Mustafa, along with Deputy Minister for Borders, Tribes and Nations, Mohammad Ismail Ghaznawi, inaugurated 11 development projects in the province with a total cost of 71 million Afghanis.
The work began with the construction of a 700-metre retaining wall in Dur Baba’s Ghuruko area. Officials said the projects, initiated under the directive of the Amir al-Mu’minin, include health facilities, retaining walls, schools, mosques, water networks, bridges and road construction and repairs.
Ghaznawi further added, that once these projects are completed, more initiatives under their framework will also be launched.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by officials from the health, rural development, communications, education, and borders departments, among others.
