Construction of a Street on Worth 7 Million Afghanis Begins in Mazar-e-Sharif
Officials from the Mazar-e-Sharif Municipality said, that work has begun on the construction of the 20th Street in Dasht-e-Shor, District 8, as part of efforts to develop and modernize the city.
The project, launched by the municipality in cooperation with the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), is valued at 7 million Afghanis.
However, the street will be 550 meters long and 6 meters wide, and the project is expected to provide daily employment for around 130 local residents.
