Construction of the “Bust” Weighbridge launched in Nahr-e-Saraj at a cost of nearly 8 million Afghanis
In Nahr-e-Saraj district of Helmand province, work has begun on the construction of the “Bust” weighbridge in the Chahargul Pump area, with a budget of 7,980,184 Afghanis funded by the Directorate of Public Works.
Mullah Mohammad Gul Ahmadi, head of weighbridges at the Directorate of Public Works “Today, we launched the construction of a weighbridge named ‘Bust’ on the Helmand–Kandahar highway in Nahr-e-Saraj district at a cost of 7,980,184 Afghanis. The project is expected to be completed in approximately four months.”
He added that through this weighbridge, between 10 to 20 million Afghanis in annual revenue will be added to the state budget, contributing to an increase in government income.
