Construction of a Water Supply Network Begins in Farah’s Farahrod District
Osama Farahi, spokesperson for the Governor of Farah, stated that the Department of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in the province has begun the construction of a clean water supply network along with two manual pumps in the villages of Alaqini, Nawi Kariz, and Khor in Farahrod district, with a total budget of 2.8 million Afghanis.
According to him, the project, with a capacity of 10 cubic meters of water, will be completed within three months and will include the installation of 18 solar panels and 655 meters of piping. Once finished, dozens of families will benefit from safe drinking water.
