Construction of Water Supply Networks Begins in Ghor and Takhar Provinces
The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) announced that the construction of three water supply networks in Alfaruq and Dawlatina districts of Ghor province has begun, with a total cost of over 18.4 million Afghanis, implemented by the provincial Department of Rural Rehabilitation and Development.
Additionally, the construction of another water supply network in the village of Qara Tapa, Ishkamish district of Takhar province, has started with a budget of 85,097 USD, also under the supervision of the provincial MRRD office.
Upon completion, these networks will provide safe drinking water to 728 families in Ghor and 250 families in Takhar.
