In “Ziarat Kaly,” a village located along the Alishing River in Laghman’s capital, construction has started on a bridge that will provide easier transportation for around 10,000 families.


Engineer Sayed Abdullah Sadat, the spokesperson for the Laghman Directorate of Public Works, told to media that the bridge will be 100 meters long and 9.5 meters wide, with a total cost of 52 million Afghanis, funded by the Islamic Emirate’s development budget. The project is expected to be completed within one year.
