Mohammad Shahpoor Bakhtiyar, head of publications at the Afghan Red Crescent Society in Takhar, said that the process of distributing cash to 625 farming families affected by war and drought has begun in the province with the financial support of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

According to him, each of these families, who were previously registered in the center and surrounding districts of Taloqan, will receive 25,000 Afghanis.
