Minister of Industry and Commerce Meets with Kazakh Deputy Ministers to Discuss Trade and Transport Cooperation
The Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Islamic Emirate, Nooruddin Azizi, met with Aghayan Janbek Taijanov, Deputy Minister of Transport of Kazakhstan, and Iran Sharkan, Deputy Minister of Industry.
According to the ministry’s press release, both sides discussed the development of economic and trade relations and aimed to raise the volume of trade between the two countries to three billion dollars. They also exchanged views on the “Afghan Trans” railway project and ways to facilitate the transport of Afghanistan’s export goods.
The meeting also covered plans to organize a Kazakhstan-Afghanistan exhibition.
Sources stated that both parties agreed to remove obstacles in the transportation sector and provide further facilities to strengthen bilateral trade.
