Meeting Chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar on Export of Fresh and Dried Fruits
During a meeting chaired by Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, held today at the Marble Palace, officials of Ariana Afghan Airlines were instructed to begin exporting fresh and dried fruits to foreign countries based on production cost and without focusing on profit for the time being. They were also directed to coordinate with air cargo companies to arrange charter flights for these exports.
According to the Economic Deputy’s Office, to permanently resolve this issue, Ariana Afghan Airlines has been tasked with purchasing two cargo aircraft, and the Islamic Emirate will allocate the necessary budget for this purpose.
Additionally, the Chamber of Commerce and Investment has been assigned to hold meetings with traders regarding the establishment of an air cargo company.
