Mullah Mohammad Yousuf Wafa, the Governor of Balkh Province, along with several officials of the Islamic Emirate, has traveled to Uzbekistan at the official invitation of the Uzbek government.

During the visit, Governor Wafa met with Qosimov O‘g‘ilbek, the Governor of Termez, and a number of other Uzbek officials.

In the meeting, both sides discussed scientific, cultural, security, trade, and agricultural cooperation, strengthening bilateral trade relations, facilitating visa procedures for Afghan traders and industrialists, developing air routes for Afghan exports, increasing trade through the railway line, ensuring the security of border areas, and enhancing diplomatic relations between the two countries.
