The project to asphalt 5,600 square meters of road in front of the Hazār Fāmili area of Sheberghan city has begun
Ahmad Siyawash Harith, spokesperson for the governor of Jawzjan, announced that the asphalt work, valued at more than 17 million Afghanis, was launched by Qari Gul Haidar Shafiq, the governor of the province.
According to him, the project is funded by the municipality’s development budget and aims to expand and improve the urban roadway. It includes asphalting both sides of an 800-meter-long and 7-meter-wide road, along with the construction of a canal. With the start of this project, around 100 people have been employed in various sections.
