Turkmenistan has donated humanitarian aid worth 34 million Afghanis to the earthquake victims in northern Afghanistan
Continuing the humanitarian assistance from neighboring countries to those affected by the northern earthquakes, Turkmenistan delivered a shipment valued at 34 million Afghanis, consisting of food and non-food items, to the officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan through the Aqina port.
Haji Zaid, spokesperson for the Balkh governor’s office, said the shipment includes 68 types of food, medical, construction, and clothing items, sent to support those affected by the recent earthquakes in the northern provinces.
It is worth noting that as a result of the recent earthquakes in the northern provinces, especially Balkh and Samangan, 27 people have lost their lives and more than one thousand others have been injured.
