A Project Worth 22 Million Afghanis Launched in Laghman
The Media Office of Laghman Provincial Council reports that a new project in the fifth district of Mehtarlam city, near the new bases of Kabul and Jalalabad, was inaugurated with the laying of the foundation stone by the Governor of Laghman, the Mayor of Mehtarlam, the Head of the Scholars’ Council, the Director of Information and Culture, and several other officials.
Mawlawi Rahmatullah Shahamat, Mayor of Mehtarlam, stated that the project is funded through the municipal internal budget and includes a fuel pump, a car wash, and two wells.
However, He added that the total cost of the project is 22 million Afghanis and that work is expected to be completed within seven months.
It is noteworthy that last week, another project worth 1.5 million Afghanis was also launched by the Mehtarlam municipality in the province.
