The Road to Mazar International Airport Being Constructed at a Cost of 64 Million Afghanis
Construction work on the road leading to Maulana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi International Airport in Mazar-e-Sharif is underway, extending 2.5 kilometers in length and 20 meters in width, with a total cost of 64 million Afghanis funded by the municipality’s development budget.
The project includes the installation of lighting poles, road marking, construction of a central green belt, and other standard road components. Excavation, canal construction, and earth removal have been completed, while the roadbed construction is progressing rapidly and with high quality.
