Contract signed for Panjshir-Takhar road construction project worth 451 million Afghanis
Following the connection of Panjshir with Badakhshan and Nuristan, a project to construct a linking road between Panjshir and Takhar, worth 451 million Afghanis, has also been contracted and its work will begin soon.
The road project, approved by the Supreme Leader, is 18 kilometres long, starting from Khawak Pass in Parian district of Panjshir and extending to Warsaj district of Takhar.
On the meeting, local officials in Panjshir said the road will not only ease travel for residents of Panjshir and Takhar, but will also bring significant developments in trade and tourism.
